Alpha Planning originally secured permission for the demolition of the former NHS Health Clinic and its replacement with nine flats. Following substantial completion of the development an application for a tenth unit within the roof space was submitted and approved. The tenth unit did not attract an affordable housing contribution.
There was also a self-build element to the permission, thereby reducing the community infrastructure levy contribution that the client was required to pay.
